‘A Plastic Ocean’
For one night only, the life changing award winning film ‘A Plastic Ocean’ will be screened at the Gympie Cinema, venue changed to the Heritage Theatre Gympie Civic Centre.
Described as the most important film of our time by Sir David Attenborough, this film explores the impact plastic is having on our seas.
Director-journalist Craig Leeson teams up with free diver Tanya Streeter and a team of researchers to explore the fragile state of our oceans.
The movie was shot in 20 locations, including Hong Kong, and has been screened in over 70 countries.
A panel discussion will be included with Josh Jensen from Undersea Productions, Trena Waugh from Farmer and Sun and Elli Webb, Council's Community Waste Education Coordinator.
