    Join us for a cold one after work on the verandah at the Australian Hotel Gympie for a conversation with Australian of the Year Alan Mackay-Sim. Alan is a STEM champion who has had an interesting career in research. Cindy Vogels will join us to find out from Alan what he knows about stem cells in the nose and how that led to some leaps and bounds in spinal regeneration treatment.

    Bonus points for getting Alan's top tips for maintaining a magnificent mustache!
