World of darkness craft beer tasting
If you can picture yourself sitting under the stars in front of a raging fire on a cold Winter's night, glass of imperial stout slowly warming in one hand and a fine cigar in the other, this event cannot be missed.
Set in the picturesque grounds of Gunabul Homestead in Gympie, the World of Darkness promises to be an event unlike anything ever seen before in this region.
The team from Zesty Edibles at Gunabul Homestead have searched far and wide to bring you a selection of the finest dark beers in the World specifically to be tapped on the night for your enjoyment including:
Founders Brewing Co. Imperial Stout -10.5% ABV
8 WIRED BREWING iStout -10.5% ABV
Hawkers Beer Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout -12.2% ABV
Bridge Road Brewers / Mikkeller HQ Dark Harvest - 6.6% ABV
plus one more secret beer which will be announced closer to the date of the event!
Catering on the night will be provided by our good friends Beauty and the Beard Eats and Events and will consist of 4 courses of locally sourced low and slow smoked favourites, prepared throughout the evening and served on the verandah.
The ticket price includes a 250ml serving of each of the 5 beers mentioned, poured in a commemorative glass for you to keep plus the 4 course dinner. Extra pours and growler/squealer fills will be available for unbelievably low prices also. Tickets are $65 each and will be available online or instore at Gunabul Homestead.
